Take a seaside stroll
Stroll 3 minutes, and you’re relaxing under your umbrella on one of Australia’s most picturesque beaches. Or, for the same investment, you’ll be indulging in a beverage at Holdfast Shores Marina. 2 minutes more, and you’ll be shopping at Jetty Road or Moseley Square.
Have car, will travel?
Adelaide is a traffic-free 15 minute cruise from our carpark. And Adelaide airport’s even closer: only 10 minutes off. You could be shopping at Westfield Marion in 10 minutes, bargain hunting at Harbour Town in 5 minutes, or wandering Hahndorf’s nostalgic main street in just 45 minutes. A sip (or two…) at Australia’s fabled Barossa Valley wine region is just 1¼ hours to your north, and the same drive-time east will put you at iconic Murray Bridge. And a little further out of town, but still only 1¾ hours from our door, awaits the SeaLink ferry to scenic Kangaroo Island.
Even if you have somewhere else on the itinerary, it’s bound to be within easy reach. Certainly the two major routes out of Adelaide are a hop, skip and a jump from Glenelg (the South Eastern Freeway is 30 minutes away, and the Southern Expressway only 15 minutes).
